Old sensibilities cast in a new Time!

Judith Day, Confectioner and Owner of Judi’s Confections, is a California native, but her ancestral roots are deeply Southern–by way of the High Country of South Carolina.

Born into a family of rich tradition, Judi was handed down a glorious 5^th generation recipe for English toffee, which she excelled at preparing.

The realization that Judi possessed the time-honored mystery of the “Golden Touch”was especially appreciated by her family and friends, who were treated to the decadent bites on holidays and special occasions.

In 2001, Judi’s artistic drive led her to crave a business all her own — the heirloom butter toffee was the instinctive choice! She went to work revamping the family recipe, still maintaining the highest quality ingredients and loving intent that go into every batch. The final result was Judi’s Butter Toffee Crunch. Shortly after, Judi’s company emerged.

Her perfected product was launched in September 2002 and made its debut at the prestigious AmericasMart Gourmet Show. Judi’s Butter Toffee crunch was fittingly acknowledged as a break-out entry, as it garnered the show’s “Best Candy”- Blue Ribbon Award.

The Judi’s Confections team office and warehouse facility are located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The thriving company boasts exclusive corporate clients, such as AirTran, Delta, Schieffelin and Somerset, Hallmark , Turner Broadcasting, as well as many of Atlanta’s civic leaders. The company has been recognized by trade, social and civic organizations.

With immense pride, Judi’s Confections provides signature tastes and products. She often relays, “It is indeed a blessing to have this opportunity, and to share opportunities with others, that my great, great grandmother, who was born into slavery, could have imagined only in her dreams. When I ponder the realization of this business, I see it as an infinitely liberating gift.”

Judi resides in Georgia with her three sons.
